Using the website

You may browse, share links and use the enquiry and booking tools for genuine studio enquiries. Do not try to access another person's booking or staff account, interfere with the site, submit malicious files, impersonate another person or use it to distribute unlawful material. Keep any private review password and personal payment links secure.

The review website does not accept live customer bookings or payments. Once booking intake opens, sending a request will not itself confirm a session: the approval and payment process in the booking terms applies. Event and bespoke production enquiries require a separate written quote and agreed scope.

Information and imagery

We aim to keep services, prices and availability accurate. Your approved booking summary records the services and price agreed for your session. If we discover an error before accepting a booking, we will explain it and ask you to accept a corrected offer or decline it. We will not unilaterally replace a confirmed price with a higher one.

Studio images include visualisations of intended layouts and finishes. Ask us to confirm any feature that is essential to your booking. We will tell you about material changes affecting the agreed service and discuss a suitable solution; images do not excuse us from supplying what we expressly agreed.

Website materials and third-party services

The studio's branding, website copy and design remain owned by their respective rights holders. You may save a personal copy of the relevant policies and booking information. Obtain permission before reusing website imagery or branding for commercial promotion. Your own project rights are covered by the booking terms.

Links to external services are provided for convenience. Their own terms and privacy information govern their services. We do not control the availability or contents of another website.

Availability and responsibility

We may maintain or temporarily suspend the website. Contact us by email if a booking-related problem prevents access. Nothing here excludes responsibility for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right or liability that law does not allow us to exclude. We remain responsible for the services we agree to provide; a website outage does not remove your contractual or statutory remedies.

Questions, disputes and changes

Email hello@ndms.uk with the issue and any booking reference. We will investigate and explain our proposed resolution. We acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and aim to resolve them within 14 days, or explain a delay. These targets do not extend a legal deadline.

English law governs these terms, without taking away mandatory protections that apply to a consumer. Consumers can bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law; these terms do not require all consumers to use a distant court.

We may update website terms for future use. The version agreed when a booking contract is formed continues to govern that booking unless both parties agree a change or law requires otherwise. Our privacy notice, cookie policy, booking/payment terms and cancellation policy explain the related arrangements.

Film community and Talent & Crew

North Dean offers a community platform through which creative professionals and project owners can discover each other. We do not act as a talent agency. A listing does not mean a person is employed, represented, endorsed or guaranteed by North Dean. Verify suitability, credits, rights, availability, engagement terms and payment arrangements directly before agreeing work. Separate commissioned production services are subject to the agreed scope and contract.

A basic professional profile is free. Initial directory applications are for adults aged 18 or over, require truthful professional details and separate publication permission, and are reviewed before publication. We may return, decline, hide or suspend a profile or opportunity for safety, misleading content, rights issues or other reasonable moderation grounds. You may ask for an explanation or raise a concern through hello@ndms.uk. Do not submit another person’s details, private contact information, home address, date of birth, confidential production material or work you do not have permission to share.

You retain the rights you hold in your submitted work. You authorise display of the professional content you ask us to publish for the directory purpose; this does not transfer ownership or give blanket marketing permission. Ask to update or remove your listing through hello@ndms.uk. The privacy notice explains publication choices and retention. We cannot guarantee the removal of copies made independently by others, but will handle your request and our own copies appropriately.

Community journeys describe possible collaboration, rather than a promise of every service or a guaranteed finished film. Originals identifies North Dean-originated, commissioned or produced work; Made at North Dean identifies wider work created using the facilities, with publication permission and accurate credits. Community opportunities require review and accurate engagement details; no employment, paid role, collaboration or production outcome is guaranteed.

Script Library

A basic script listing is free and reviewed before publication. Writers retain the rights they hold. Submit only your own material or material you have the necessary permissions to share, and give accurate professional details. Applications are initially for adults aged 18 or over. Do not upload another person’s confidential script, private contact details or personal information that is unnecessary for the listing.

Your publication request authorises display of the approved title, professional writer name, format, genre, logline, synopsis and optional text extract for the library purpose. It does not authorise publication of the full PDF, transfer ownership, adaptation, production, marketing use or sale of rights. An optional full PDF is provided for private staff review. Interested readers contact North Dean; sharing a manuscript or private contact requires a separate check with the writer. Agree any confidentiality, licence, option or production terms directly before sharing or using the full work. No automatic NDA, representation, funding or production agreement is created by a listing.

Readers may read the approved synopsis/extract to consider an introduction. Obtain the rights holder’s permission before reproducing, adapting or producing the work. A public extract cannot be promised confidential. North Dean can return, decline, hide or suspend material for reasonable moderation, rights or safety grounds. Writers can request updates/removal and report concerns at hello@ndms.uk; the privacy notice covers data choices and retention. A listing is not a guarantee of employment, funding or production.
